If you want the 'formulas', think in terms of 'sacred geometry' or the Platonic Solids.

No? Ahh.... the joys of 'sacred geometry'... Once you 'get it', you never look back. 
It's pretty simple. It's mostly geometries (wave-lengths/energy forms, vibrations) built around star-like shapes like the pentagon. The 'one' geometry that includes in its makeup all the 'Platonics' (the five geometries) is the 'star tetrahedron'.
