Description
Beauty and the Beast Β© Walt Disney Company."You... you came back."
"Of course I came back. I couldn't let themβ Oh this is all my fault. If only I'd gotten here sooner."
"Maybe... it's better... it's better this way."
"Don't talk like that. You'll be all right. We're together now. Everything's going to be fine, you'll see."
"At least... I got to see you... one last time..."
Oh well isn't this cheerful, uh?
No matter how much I like Japanese animation, Disney will always be No.1 for me, and Beauty and the Beast will always be my favourite animated movie. I'm really not used to drawing people Disney-style, and Belle didn't want to cooperate to start with, but I got there in the end. I've been feeling like drawing Disney stuff, and seeing some amazing work lately has really inspired me.
Oh and because it cannot be said enough, the Beast =

So true! Spirited Away and even Porco Rosso are surely better, but the emotionnal impact of Beauty and the Beast stills forever in your heart.

As much as I love Spirited Away, I wouldn't say that's it's better. They all have a very special place in my heartΒ Β

I have so much love for the Beast, it's not even funny⦠So him turning back into the Prince is always⦠well, disappointing in a way.

Did U C this as a child like I did and have that expectation & maybe accept it at tha time like me but grew 2 resent it?

I was 10-11 when it came out where I lived so⦠not exactly a child anymore  The fact that I always though he was the least attractive of all the Disney guys really didn't help.

U mean B4 or after he reverted 2 his human form Bcuz they say they put so little effort N2 developing an attractive human form Bcuz they knew "kids wouldn't B satisfied by anything they put there Bcuz they spent so much time w/ him as tha Beast" which brings us back 2 the argument of Y make him human especially after that good point...it proly has something 2 do w/ alot I hear about 2day that's messed up w/ Disney films & they say she's tryin 2 date an animal(TOTALLY NOT TRUE)but Disney was afraid of sending that full message BUT years later they IMPLY HEAVILY that Elisa Maza & Goliath(tha Gargoyles series)have a romantic interest N each other despite being 2 different species+it has a much darker tone & storyline than most Disney though tha series ends B4 they undeniably end up w/ each other!!
2 MUCH EXPOSITION ?!

I guess I went a bit too far when I said his human form was the "least attractive". He's not a bad-looking character at all; he has interesting features, gorgeous hair, and those eyes⦠we know those eyes! But it's just⦠that moment when he first turns around after transforming back, his nose just looks all⦠well that's all you can look at, and I've always thought it really ruins the first impression you get of him.
As for why he turns human again, well that's just part of the original story (even though Disney have a tendency to change things when it suits them).
Oh goodness, you just /had/ to mention Goliath and Elisa⦠*swoons*

Whoops-A-Daisy, LOL!! I had forgotten that some of Disney's "best stuff" is based on pre-existing stories...I'm still NOT really sold on The Lion King being based on Hamlet though!
ALSO
I suppose it's safe 2 say @ this point that U ship Elisa x Goliath somethin fierce!

To be perfectly honest, this one took a lot of effort. Like I said in the description, no matter how much I love Disney, I'm not used to doing fanart. Belle looked all wrong for quite some time while I was working on that one, but thankfully something eventually clicked
Oh and, by the way, thanks a lot for the favs on my other Disney drawings, and for watching me too!

I heart this. B&B is one of the most beautiful Disney films and my personal favorite. You did capture the scene and feel of it extraordinarily well. The hard work is absolutely noticed.

That was the saddest part of the movie I hate to admit i get misty everytime.
Though its mostly because I want the beast to stat a beast. i thought he looked better >.> and its not Just because I'm a furry. .
Anyway, You did an amazing job of recreating ths scene. and i instantly fell in love with it

I'm afraid it wasn't I think it wouldn't have been so bad if the Prince weren't so... ugly...? I mean, he's not your usual handsome Disney prince, is he? Maybe they wanted to make us wish he'd stayed as the Beast because they'd done such an awesome job

I don't know, but i used to have a home page on aol with wanting the beast to stay a beast was one of the signa that you might be a furry.
And at least Disney made up for it with Aladdin... Genie is one of the 10 10 Disney guy's I'd kidnap in heart beat lol hmm come to think about it, so is beast . -Elbows Belle... "Hands off! He's MINE!"
^^ yesss i am insane... -is taken away in straight jacket-
