ETA April 17th: Still not finished (or anywhere near finished), and I won't pretend I'm looking forward to shading those suits… Still, I think the colours are working (much love to ~Catssyclaws ) and I'm happy with the way their faces look. The new technique makes me feel a lot more comfortable with the whole shading process.
Just to prove that I'm still alive
Work's been crazy since the beginning of the month but I've had a bit of a breather this week so I've tried to write and draw. I'm hoping to clean this up and colour it soon (that's going to be fun… 
). Stuff also needs tweaking here and there. But yay, boys in suits.

Also, I'll have you know that your choice of colours for M mean that they are wearing Ichigo and Ishida colours and that's prompted another monster to start living in my head. More about it later, hopefully.

The first picture of the monster will most likely be done by a friend of mine but I will definitely try to do my own at some point.

For some reason I see Michael in classic white and Josh in black XD But that's just me and how I associate the normal suit colors to your characters. If suits could be any color though I'd see Josh in a darkish green one and Michael in a totally cheesy powder blue one LOL OMG I think I raeped your characters. D:

Oh. Black and white suits would make sense yes, but I'm already cringing at the thought of shading something white (I'm hopeless at it).
And while green isn't a colour I'd associate with Josh (maroon, though, just won't get out of my head when it comes to him), blue would definitely be Michael's colour. Not necessarily "totally cheesy powder blue", though

I can see maroon. lol I'm not even a green fan, but with his hair and eyes and skin some sort of muted dark green just popped into my head. For some reason I pictured Michael in that ruffled powder blue tux that you always see in cheesy movies. NOT that it's how I see him... but as a joke. I totally think he could pull it off.

I'm going to give the black and white idea a go, and we'll see how that goes. Josh's tie will probably end up maroon, and maybe I'll make what small parts of Michael's shirt you can actually see powder blue

I've done the flat colours and coloured the lines as well, but right now I'm not brave enough to go beyond that

I decided to indeed take a break and work on colour this Jez sketch from last December [link] I think I'm almost done.

Yes, I'm not so sure about the black on black thing either. I don't have much hope about the shading so maybe I ought to change the colour of the shirt… Make it maroon and have the tie black instead?

Oooooo I like that idea! That way their shirts will be the splash of color. Because I can imagine Michael having a white tie, even though I can't see it. Yes yes I very much like that idea!

Oh absolutely, Michael's tie would be white if you could see it. So that settles it for Josh's colour scheme, then. The jacket button and belt buckle will probably be silver, because I can't think of anything else.

Thanks! I've had the idea in my head for a while and actually started the rough sketch in May last year. I can't wait to see them done either (someone else wants to shade the suits…?
