Does anyone recognise this guy...? Last time I drew him was March last year when I did a new version of an 'old' picture (for me, 2004 is old) [link]
Goran and Elizabeth are my first real OCs and I often feel guilty for having abandoned them (although I do plan to go back and finish their story). As is often the case, talking about Goran to =LightSeeker the other night made me fall in love with him all over again and so I had to draw him. This time I didn't want it to be a simple portrait, so voilà! I gave him black trousers and a black cloak I didn't have to shade on purpose so I could focus on him. I hope I get to draw him again soon because... I love my Goran

Aaawww, thanks. Making the lines dark grey instead of black actually gave it a very interesting look, but I couldn't resist making the whole thing dark, as usual.

I did, yes, at the same time I posted the pic last year. Since then, the focus that used to be on her as the main character has slowly shifted to him so I'm quite at a loss writing-wise

you did such a great job on his expression. he looks like he's seen a lot in his day. his eyes are so solemn and pensive, and his pose is very guarded. the cloak adds a lot to his mood, since it partially hides his figure, and the only part of his body you can see it blocked by his arms. great job.

Oh, thank you! I love it when someone does a more detailed analysis of one of my pictures and sometimes reveals things I hadn't meant to put there (but not this time). I'm glad I managed to get it all across. And yes, he has seen a lot in his few hundreds years already...

No! Not at all! O.O I just thought it was funny that I noticed them because I usually don't on a drawing (I can't focus on little details very well)... So in other words it's great!
