Personally, I'm a big fan of concept art. I love seeing how characters develop! So I thought it'd be fun to share some of the sketches that led to several of my fakemon.There are sketches for:
-Valysseus
-Batini's family
-Eardar and Radarhua
-Toucarade and Ceropera
-Tyvern
-Lupice
-Tundrox
-Coccineon
-Vespuleon
-Stegrow and Stegrove
-Glittiphos and Voltaiphos - (originally intended to be a water type before I had the idea of an electric generator crest, just to explain the fins in their first sketches)

The bat family was drawn on behalf of my friend, who came up with the general ideas. They all come from the same bat though, so technically it's only one family
