She is one of the Kokiri, they are the children of the forest.
You're getting them confused with forest elves xD, furthermore
it's not known if they age at all. Being children of the forest,
and there being no adults around, the current fan consensus is
that they are actually an evolution of hylian monkeys found in
the other entries in the series Forgive my nerd attack xD

They aren't a tribe xD They just "are".
The new Deku tree tells Link that the others won't
recognize him because Link is actually a Hylian, not
a Kokiri And they don't age because they embody the
forests spirit of youth xD I've been playing the Zelda
series all my life so I know they story inside out lol
Majoras Mask is my favourite though ^_^

There wasn't a single concert for the anniversary here in
Ireland, so I just bought the CD lol I loved wind wakers
cel-shading, it's some of the best Ive ever seen!

The best graphicaö idea I ever seen is from "Shifting World" but the Cel-Shading is a great idea,too(I so badly wish me a WiiU Cel-Shading-title!)
The CD was luckily with every Skyward Sword sold here as (pathetic) excuse for the cancelled concert. -> But I had bought it anyway!
