I've been playing Cuphead all weekend and god help me I'm in love with homicidal candy. If you have an Xbox One or PC and like Metal Slug, Contra, or just really appreciate traditional animation, please check out Cuphead. It's an amazing and super hard game, well worth the wait

Very much like metal slug indeed only metal slug is away harder

It super is, but I remember a lot of the levels of Metal Slug 3 so because the bullet patterns are new in Cuphead I consider it harder, plus I can't infinite continue the game like Metal Slug.

Too bad the game doesn't have the Giga mech battle unlike MSXX/7

Honestly I think the game is fine as it is, a lot of work was clearly put into it, and adding something like that would have added a ton of animation work. If anything, giant robots/monsters would be something for them to think about if they ever made a sequel.
