Description This is a basic face... no real stylizing here... it can be interpreted into anime or realism pretty easily I think... The point is to show some angles that I have always found difficult to draw, showing what they look like in a basic form for people to try to copy. I haven't done a step by step for all of these, this is just a reference page... but if you have questions for any of these angles, I can try to break it down for you. I hope this helps.

it's so hard to find reference drawings for most of this angles... thanks a lot, I was looking everywhere for a tutorial or something on different angles (other than the usual ones: front, 3/4, and profile...)

I know. I was the same way. I eventually took photographs of a statue I built and used them as references to draw these, and they were still hard to figure out. I'm glad this helps

This is very useful!

but I think the second one from the left in the first row and the first one from the left in the second row are not quite right...

but it's really a great job !

Thank you. I agree, I didn't much care for the second ont he left int he first row... really, the looking up one? That was a difficult angle, I wanted it to be extreme looking up... but I'll see if I can do anything about that. Any suggestions for either?

I know. That is why I made them... as much for a reference for myself as for other people. Like I said, if there is one you want to try and have difficulty with I can always try to break it down for you. ^^

I'm pretty good at breaking down things, I don't want to bother you with things like that.

So have you got any further in writing your novel, any new ideas?

Yes and no. I have had an insane week so writing stuff down is out... but I do have some new ideas. Thanx for the reminder that I need to write stuff down too.

I know this is random, but what age kids do you teach? I'm assuming little kids.

Oh! So they're older than I though. Hmm. I want to be your student. Hahaha I know that isn't possible, but I think it would be cool. I would love to have you as a teacher. There isn't many teachers that I know that like Rurouni Kenshin.

I know what you mean. Well, I'm a brand new teacher, barely older than my students. and yes, I am quite popular with my students for my even KNOWING what anime is. XD
