Entering this into: [link] ? where you are to draw a portrait of your OC.Kiala: A strong and very independent girl, she is a warrior first, but she can put on a display of being delicate and sweet. She knows how to dress up prettily and win over people's affections with her charm in a world where girls who look like her are considered to be delicate flowers whose place is in the home or on the shoulders of a strong man, but the truth is that she is a fire magic wielding sword swinging heroine who chooses to fight in order to protect the one she loves, Ryu.
Ryu: Ryu is a straight forward kind of guy, very unlike Kiala. He has gentle eyes, and he hates killing and hurting people in spite of his talents in battle. While Kiala won't hesitate to kill, he always holds back if he feels he can. He has a gentle nature and a strong sense of right and wrong. He fights because he feels that not fighting is refusing to take a stand for what he believes in. He loves Kiala for her spirit and courage.
This image is a sneak peak because it is a close up of a larger work that i am in the process of making, which will take quite some time yet to finish, but it will be my best work to date when finished, and I couldn't wait to share my progress with you.
Update:
This is a close up, now, I have the full background (no foreground visible here) done. The clouds were a fun challenge, and I really enjoyed doing the edge of the forest.

I think this is super cute. I has that innocent romance vibe and seems to come to life. I love the way the suns rays shine down on them and their eyes just seem to pop. The whole piece itself is vivid and imaginative. I give it two thumbs up.Honestly i dont see any necessary improvements that can be made on thi piece because it is truly a work of art. If i could i would hang this in my room it is just simply amazing. I also love how their facial features are perfect not to round not to jagged.

This is a truly vivid and amazing piece. There is just so much in this I want to comment on so bear with me.
The colors are stunning, they are all shaded well and they compliment each other. The way you have done the lighting is superb, I almost feel like I need to shut my eyes to keep the sun from blinding me.
I am so in love with your attention to detail, I love detail; The subtle, almost impossible to see, glare circles from the sun. The blue tent on her hair from the sun shinning through the umbrella, and being able to see through her hair in the thinner places. I love that the lines of the man and the shading of his skin tone are sharper and a bit more rough than hers, it adds a bit of delicateness to her.
Simply put, this is fabulous.
