In light of recent events, and considering I was getting a little obsessed with watercolours, I gave *unclefreak an upgrade <3 my feel better present to you.An old gypsy woman inspired by the character from the original Wolfman film.

One thing I'm noticing is that you're really afraid to use the darker, more pure paints! I am not sure if it's because you are using student grade and they are notoriously watery/crappy, but if you pick up a good red yellow blue and mix it almost pure then apply it to already wet areas of the paper the colour will be really really vivid. Like, paint a section with clear water, add colour, BAM.
Those are also damn nice hands.

No worry, for a first/second time you're doing pretty well. You wouldn't believe how many people in my classes who went to art highschool were like...bashing the shit out of the paper with those paintbrushes.
Try using them to do a still life. Now that's fun/frustrating.
