Gomz. That's seriously smexy. Now not to seem biased or anything, I totally think this is one of your best line arts. The contrast in this is epic and I love the dynamicness of it.
Note to other people:
COMMISH THIS EPIC ARTIST BETCHES!

I used him to test a new inking technique - i'm proud to report that it worked BRILLIANTLY. I loved the eyeball-goop so much that i had to add it.

It looks great (and honestly, I feel silly every time after I critique you because there is so much I should learn from you, not the other way... like realistic drawing ), but I'd suggest trying to make more loose and sketchy shades (unless it's not what you're aiming for), maybe more lines rather than solid color shading.
Also, what nibs are you using? Maybe using bigger nibs for more line variation can add something. I don't know if square-cut nibs are a good idea, but you might give them a try too (they give interesting effects, even if you won't use it for inking daily it sure is a neat exercise).
And a question: what do you prefer when it comes to inking - nibs or brushes? I have tried both and I still can't figure out what is better for me (and ink most of my stuff with pens and sharpie-like pens, heh).

Yeah - i really want to try some texturey inkings, but i've got a horrible tendency to go overboard. Any advice there?
I'm using some square-end nibs, but the paper is a bit absorby...it's using the smaller nibs that i have to get used to.
I much prefer nibs for thin line inking, but brushes are better for big black areas, and things like texturing hair.
Thanks for dropping by!

Um, I tend to go overboard with things like that too, but there was this advice I got in my school - when you ink a picture, mentally mark the darkest/black parts and the lightest/white parts, and do whatever you want with the rest. I dunno if it helps, I can't work it out the way I want myself.
I really like how Scottie Young does it - he keeps really sketchy lines and yet you can't call it messy, it's very structured, so to speak.
