Description
There comes a time in every artist's life where the baton gets dropped.I love DD - I had a fantastic collaborator in *flipsidered and an awesome cast to work with. But as it is, as I'm out of a job and having a couple of personal problems, I can't afford to spend another couple of months working on comics for my leisure.
I love comic art, and I intend to make a career out of it. But a career means folios and applications and test pages and things that I can't do while I'm working in the OCT scene. Similarly, it means commissions and jobhunting so I can afford to keep myself under a roof, and indeed, in paper.
I feel like a heel for leaving *flipsidered to carry the baton for our team. But I also feel that this is the right thing to do for me. Thankyou, flips - you have been an absolute champion, and I could not have done it without you.

I'm glad that you were still able to put up what you had--and SO MUCH OF IT!--even if you can't continue. Stuff happens, though, so it's understandable.
The zombeasts are quite impressive looking, I must say. I also love your use of expressions. You can totally see, despite what Sydney might say, she has a real fondness developing for Mickey.

NGGG, so glad to see some of your work going up! l was getting worried.
The inking in this one is WAY better than in other art l've seen you do- woman, you are, as always, improving in leaps an bounds! the comic looks amazing.l do wish you'd try to do your sound effects by hand,though, because the computer-made ones stand out really obviously. l know you could integrate it better!
Your zombies look fantastic, and l never knew you could draw anials so well. Tiger looks great!
And Sydney is badass and Molly looks amazing and l looooooove this so much holy shit how do you rock so hard.

Even though you havent been able to ink the whole thing, l think the story is really good, and the art is still really legible. l love how you two started it off with mickey being gone, instead of doing a typical linear format for the story. Sorry you wont be finishing the art, but lll be sure to keep reading.
