Kit is a confirmed luddite. Her native city bypassed the industrial revolution and experienced economic and social stagnation, allowing for a thriving underworld and a near-constant state of civil unrest. Kit hates machinery with a passion - for one thing, it allows bright people with no muscles to wield power (she can't bear the educated), and once made a machine offers power to anyone. Kit's been working her way to the top of the illegal hierarchy all her life, and nothing is about to mess with that...
On top of that, for a fighting style based on an encyclopaedic knowledge of soft, squishy and painful bits of the body, she finds herself unable to adapt to robots. You can't kick a robot in the nuts - it'd hurt your foot more than them.

Kit speaks in heavily accented cockney, smattered liberally with Thieves Cant (curiously similar to that which thrived in victorian london) - a dictionary of which i have provided here. Hopefully it will be helpful.
