Description
the Fillyflea is an endangered host creature, commonly holding thousands of children within their abdomen. They prefer warm, moist environments and despise the cold. Their nests are typically made out of their own saliva and the freshly hollowed out corpses of their prey. Once the bodies become cold they leave in search for more. They once could often be seen hobbling long distances in search of optimal conditions, though due to their fragile bodies and poor movement abilities not many had made it to their destination. Should the host collapse, their many children, known as Fillings, will move on to a new host. Preferably the warmest.

The Fillings are many in number but small in size. Their tiny size allow them to quickly and quietly sneak upon a larger prey to crawl underneath their skin or through any opening in the body. The needle like limbs are also useful in puncturing skin or organs to live in or feed upon. Sensitive to cold temperatures, they easily die in cold. Along with sufficient nutrients, those who incubate in the best environment for long enough will go through a metamorphosis, becoming a Fillyflea.

So these little critters are apart of a little 5 page comic i did for college. Its nothing much but i'll post them soon.
