Oh my...I think I hit my cuteness quotient with this.This (I guess actually Spoilerish) fanart hails from the lawyerly world of the Phoenix Wright/Ace Attourney games, and since Franziska is present here, I guess that means Spoilers for both games. Kinda. So stop looking if you don't like spoilers...? Whoops.
Manfred scares the hell outta me; adopting the son of the man you killed, Just so you can crush him when he grows up? man, wtf.
This happened randomly; started drawing it while watching [Scrubs.], of all things.. I'm actually kinda proud of it, since I almost NEVER draw children, and they came out...pretty decent. The only things about this drawing that bother me are the hands, since I have trouble drawing them palm-side-up/facing viewer, and the fact that Miles kinda looks like he's leaning to one side. He looks a touch overbalanced. Oh well.
Miles came out exactly how I thought he would, and Franziska is just adorable. I can't express how happy I am with how she came out as a whole.
Dang, I wrote a whole essay there.
Miles Edgeworth, Franziska von Karma, and Manfred von Karma('s leg) are from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney and Justice for All, which is totally the property of Capcom.

Simply adorable! I gotta admit, psycho though she can be, I love Franzika, and I am a fan of her and Edgey-poo. This is so cute, and ties nicely in with the final scenes of Justice for All. I don't think Edgeworth looks too over blanced.

He does appear to be leaning slightly.
I say the things off about Miles is the angle of the foot that's going up, the angle of the suitcase (it should be more straight because everyone else in the shot sort of is), and how the knee and area there in general on the side are.

I faved, so I gotta comment.
The von Karma family and their dynamics fascinate me to no end, and I think you've got down in pictures what I've been trying to get out about them. The composition is what really makes this win. For sanity and safety, all Miles and Friska have are each other, Much as they may want their father to give them that, he's not going to. They have to try and hold on to what they do have, and you show them doing that. Granted, I think Friska realizes this a bit later than is shown in the picture, but in this case it's better that you sacrificed facts for truth.
Your self-criticisms about posing are warranted, I will agree, though I wouldn't be as hard on you as you are on yourself. Especially not about the hands; they're actually fairly good.
Also, boys in shorts-suits just kill me with their cuteness, and the only character I've seen drawn who doesn't look odd in a shorts-suit is Miles. So it was partially faved for that.
