Oh my...I think I hit my cuteness quotient with this.This (I guess actually Spoilerish) fanart hails from the lawyerly world of the Phoenix Wright/Ace Attourney games, and since Franziska is present here, I guess that means Spoilers for both games. Kinda. So stop looking if you don't like spoilers...? Whoops.
Manfred scares the hell outta me; adopting the son of the man you killed, Just so you can crush him when he grows up? man, wtf.
This happened randomly; started drawing it while watching [Scrubs.], of all things.. I'm actually kinda proud of it, since I almost NEVER draw children, and they came out...pretty decent. The only things about this drawing that bother me are the hands, since I have trouble drawing them palm-side-up/facing viewer, and the fact that Miles kinda looks like he's leaning to one side. He looks a touch overbalanced. Oh well.
Miles came out exactly how I thought he would, and Franziska is just adorable. I can't express how happy I am with how she came out as a whole.
Dang, I wrote a whole essay there.
Miles Edgeworth, Franziska von Karma, and Manfred von Karma('s leg) are from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney and Justice for All, which is totally the property of Capcom.

I don't know what's up with this picture but I can't stop staring at it! The whole scene just... I don't know amuses me. The emotions on both of their faces are expressed really nicely. I really like the scetchy style you did with this picture and the background. I REALLY like the background. I absolutely adore this. Also, this is possibly the most adorable Franziska I have ever seen.

Anyway, I love the excruciating detail that seems to have gone into the backround. It really compliments the whole image. It makes Fran and Edgey look smaller and more lost, since children would see that as enourmous....

That would be fantastic if you could size and frame it. Right now Von Karma's left ankle is hardly in the picture and barely none of the backround can be seen. T_T
But it's a wonderful picture. It inspired awful fanfiction by me, so, hopefully that's a good thing...
But keep doing more stuff! I looked through the rest of your pictures and you've got some real talent. Your style is very unique and refreshing, not the traditional anime/manga imitations. It's not horribly cartoony, but it's fun and playful and I can really see the goofy PW characters fitting in perfectly.

Like another commenter up there this IMMEDIATELY made me think of that one scene at the very end of JFA... that scene made me cry. ;_; STFU I CRIED. To be honest though, lots of games have done that to me... XD

Cute! I love the design for little Fransika, it's cool how you took her design and just made some changes to it. And Edgey is cute too, but you can't really go wrong with little Edgey in a bowtie. And since everyone seems to be bringing up Manfred, might I also point out the whole tazer incident? Thats pretty scary too. o_O

I saw this picture before I even started playing JFA, and I forced myself to stay away from it until I finished that game so I wouldn't be spoiled.
When I finally got to the "secret" ending, this picture was the first thing that came to mind. Honestly, this image really added to the impact of that final scene for me. I'm really glad I found this before I started the game.
Manfred's a callous son of a bitch; he freaks me out for the same reasons you brought up in your description. At least Franziska seems to have some sort of heart buried in her....

Nice pic. I agre, VonKarma is definately one twisted S.O.B. I like the think that maybe he took Edgeworth in out of guilt and tried to mold the boy in his own image only to find out that Miles could never truely never be a clone of him and there was too much of his fater in him. So in his own twisted mind, Manfred beleived that he had no choice, but to destroy the boy.

I came across this while searching for fan art of Mitsurugi, and this is wonderful! I really love the concept behind it and I agree - Manfred scares me too.
Little!Franziska is so adorable. I love her expression and is that a bear I see? I'm almost reminded of the fourth case now from the second game.

I really love the concept of image; background is indeed, awesome. The coloring is also lovely.

Oh my, this is really good. I mean, really impressive. The expression between the two of them, Franzi literally running behind lil' Edgey, just.. reaching out like that, and actually crying.
And then there's Von Karma, who would probably leave the freakin' kids behind in the airport because he's a... well, I won't say it, but it's a very nasty word.

Firstly, the background. Secondly, their expressions and the outstretched hands. I'm not exactly sure even what it is, but it just speaks volumes. This is one of the best peices of Phoenix Wright fanart i've seen yet, and i've seen quite a few.

You know what I like most about this picture? The background (sorry! ><
Make no mistake, the foreground is fantastic, but the background totally makes this picture work.
Btw, one thing I noticed, when you hold out your hand to someone (palm upward), I don't believe that the index, middle, and ring finger go straight and the pinky makes such an exagerrated curve. >.o It looks good, just a bit unnatural.
And damn deviantART, I was going to post this earlier but they had to go into maintence like 10 minutes after you posted the picture. ><;

Hee. Glad you like it, I'm actually rather pleased with the background. Honestly, that lady scolding her kid, and the other one shaking her fist at the guys running, delight me and were part of what made me actually put as much into the background as I did. (The other part being that I felt that this deseved a background and that I need to draw them someday anyhow.)
I've got this whole set of reasons as to why they're all sketchy, and all the paper grime is still littering the background, but it narrows down to this: 1) Draws attention to the relative spiffiness of the foreground folks, and 2) I didn't feel like making them any more defined anyhow.
And I know, agh, that HAND. I redrew it at least a dozen times before it got to the sort of acceptable state it's in now X_x. I wound up bending my left hand around to draw it in the end. In my defense, my pinky does make that sort of exaggerated curve, but for the other fingers, I should've done something to make the palm look more...caved? Like when you move your thumb joint across your palm and it kinda becomes cup-shaped. That would've made it look more natural.
But the pinky...er..maybe I'm double jointed and that's why I drew it looking odd? Mine seriously does that. 
Drawing hands when you can see the palm= not my forte. I forget too much detail. Probably because I usually look at the back of my hands.

Yeah, drawing hands palm-upwards is rather a pain. =x I don't think even I could do it well at this point. o_o Oh well, that's why they say "Practice makes perfect."
