Simply, is she stepping on rudder pedals like on an actual biplane? Or are they accelerators like on a car.
If it's the first, and I've had a friend who experienced this, she'd basically be in what us Aviation nuts call a flatspin
If it's the latter then that's a very interesting take on how planes work, and honestly I wish planes were that easy to control. I'm in flight training and I could kill for easy controls TBH

The Gnat is this 1950's British jet trainer. A beautiful little machine. A good reminder that jets didn't need to be supersonic to be good quality
