Description
Well.... yes... this is FREAK!!!!This story was born during a class of palaeobotany, when the professor started to talk about the progymnosperms, and particularly from Archaeopteris ... (e.g. Archaeopteris macilenta)...
Our first thought was.... "wasn`t that the earliest bird???" well, there is a difference, an "s" for an "x"... as a result of this... well, here is the comic, made by Agustin Martinelli and me!.
They´re an Ostrich dino (who probably was an omnivore, and would have no problem in eating leaves) and a small... well... a tyrannosauroid... the idea was to show a non maniraptoran small theropod. And yes... Obviously carnivore!!!!!!!
Oh, by the way, Archaeopteris is a plant which was extinc in the mesozoic... it´s from the upper paleozoic. And worse, the two dinos are from the cretaceous, and Archaeopterix is from the Jurassic.... well... is a comic!!!
and.... yes, there is an "and", we must say it! this comic was very inspired by Mike`s Parry and Carney Cartoon (www.parryandcarney.com) ... superb!!!!

I was wondering why "Archeopterix" was spelled with an "S". I get it now!
Very funny! And well drawn!
Once he brought down the leaves it was like the whole plan went terribly wrong! Especially for the Ostrich dino! Poor Ostrich dino!
*g*
