Because I've made it no secret that I'm into femslash, and it's apparent that I'm a fan of Ruby Gloom, here's a doodle I made. Mostly while listening to Blink-182, actually. Non-nude and whatnot, so at least I don't have to worry about everyone trying to tell me they're kids and HOW COULD YOU DO THAAAT.Ruby Gloom, Iris, and Misery are property of Nelvana.

There's hardly any femslash of Ruby Gloom and if there is it's mainly Ruby with someone. I only found one Iris/Misery pic.

As a joke, I'd once done one with those two. Had something of a punchline about how fisting makes you go cross-eyed. Lost it awhile back, though...

For the most part, yeah. I've always seen them as at least teenagers, if not young adults, mostly because of the instances when they have actual kids on the show (Gloomsville Manor's residents are notably larger than the children), as well as their behavioral patterns. The only reason I've seen why they act 'childish' is because, well, it's a kids' show, and most of it has to be reserved enough to get past censors. And even then... well, look at stuff like Adventure Time, Regular Show, as well as earlier works like Animaniacs and Freakazoid!, which may be even worse in terms of innuendo.
Besides, it's not like there isn't worse out there of other kids' cartoons.
