*blinks and raises an eyebrow and kindly speaks up in reply* Wh-..What makes you say that, little girl? And...I agree, sometimes the oxidized results are more appealing to the eye than the original layer or paint. And...it is often the more classical architecture that is more magnificent.
(Statue of Liberty may be an example or anything made of metals that has changed color over time due to contact with the moist air).
