I wouldn't say that the boat represents culture, imo I would say that the boat contrast to the back drop represents the wealth not being shared around. Also a little photo tip, A faster shutter speed to get rid of the scene being blown out by the sun.

actually , if you knew the culture of Abu dhabi well ....then you would know that this boat definitely represents it ...thats why the previous comment say so ....because she lives there . and why it represents culture ? ..because before they discovered petrol there , the citizens where very poor , and the only source of living was fishing in one of these boats , so it is considered culture ...and by increasing the shutter speed the boat will be underexposed ...i was considering to take it in HDR that would've been nice ...but the boat is moving ....so ...

You could of increased the shutter slightly without losing out on the boat that much.
