Description
Scenarios involved: "What if there was a landmass connecting Britain and Europe?" and "What if half of Europe skipped forward/jumped backwards in time?"STORY:
"The news was all over the world. Britain had fallen and was now in the hands of the Nazis. How they managed to accomplish such a feat was quite easy; they sent many Nazi soldiers across Charles' Mass, the landmass which connected Britain to Europe, making it easy for Adolf Hitler to take control of London. The British were forced to surrender or be wiped out by the Germans. Many people left their homes and fled towards Scotland and Ireland where there was more safety from the war. After the war, Scotland and Ireland split from what was the United Kingdom and formed the Anti-Nazi Coalition along with Socialist Iberia, who had unified under José Díaz.
However, the chaos did not stop there, as Hitler had demanded that the top scientists of Nazi Germany make time travel possible. It would have been impossible for him to conquer the entire world if he could not go back into history and change things. Eventually he managed to gain access to the technology that did so.
But how did Hitler get hold of the technology? There are many theories regarding this question. Some believe that Hitler stole the technology from the Nazis during World War II, while others claim that the Nazis invented time travel themselves. Regardless of how it happened, Hitler used the technology to send himself back into history and start his reign of terror.
However, something went wrong, and only the eastern half was affected. Not only that, it went forwards instead of backwards. To the year 2030, to be exact. Almost the entirety of Eastern Europe was under the control of a totalitarian Russian leader named Vladimir Putin. He was a ruthless dictator who had no qualms about killing anyone who opposed him.
When Hitler discovered this, he immediately wanted to ally with Putin. Thus, meetings between him and Putin were planned for December 19th, 1944. However, before they could meet, Hitler was killed by an unknown assailant on November 9th. This led to a power struggle within the Nazi Party, but eventually Hitler's son, Rudolf, took over. He quickly made peace with Russia and allied himself with them.
It was then decided that the meeting between Hitler and Putin would happen after Christmas, when both men returned home from their respective holidays."
