What tools do you use? I really like the work itself and the style of drawing. Really wonderful shading and the theme is great!

My tools: Uni-Ball Vision Elite rollerball pen with a bold point and a sharpie fine point pen. And depending on my mood, i really like to use either a red or black chisel point sharpie marker.

As have I. I had just gotten my grass cut and since it was so long, i failed to see the dead bird in the thick of it. Needless to say, it was an interesting visual when i ran the thing over.

This really beautifully done and says so much. You have captutured a great expression in the face of the cat - part surprise, part sadness. I think at different times I could be both the cat and the bird. The bird most of the time as I often feel damaged by others. The cat when I do the damage. I am not a malicious person so when I upset someone I am usually consumed by sadness that I have done so and almost disbelief that I could have allowed myself to get to that stage.

The cycle of life! All things die. Don't feel sorry for the bird. It's journey is over, feel sorry for the cat.

I didn't feel sorry for it because it is dead, as you say we all die and I'm actually not really afraid of it (but I'm afraid of life after death as it may be terrible but forever) but it looks like the bird died from oil - cruel death - and that is why I feel sorry for it. Yeah, maybe I should feel sorry for the cat, maybe not, depends on how its life is right now.

A very interesting perspective. I like it. I can understand that. Personally i do not believe in 'life' after death. Life after death is just an idea created for those who are afraid to die. But you must look at death like this. You just go into nothingness. You came from nothingness, was it so bad? Know what I mean?
