The expression in your eyes is fantastic, totally, and looks wonderful in b+w.

Great shot! In this one I agree that the noise is a bit high. a Bit of noise in a B&w shot can be great to add character, but here, in fullview, it starts detractign a bit from the detail (such as those lovely eyes). Maybe try some of the techniques I discussed in my other comments and see what kind of results you get.
Even with the noise, it is a very nice piece.

its not noise, its grain fron fiber based silver bromide crystals- in the photographic paper.
but i will keep that in mind for the future, thank you.

Wans't sure if there were digital ("noise") or film ("grain"). Different sources of the same "problem". Of course it's not always a problem, depending on the context and the amount. Here the amount is just a bit high for my tastes. With film, obviously there is little you can do about grain after the fact if you are doing straight printing. But, if you are scanning negatives, you can still do post-prod.

P.S. A bit of sharpening to the lips to make them stand out a touch more would alos add to the shot.
