I was deeply disappointed in this character. The whole tough macho persona was off shoot by the small stuff toy pony he had stanched in his outfit. And wasn't Captain Boomerang one of Green Arrow's main villains?
Other than my personal feeling about the character in general, I really like how you have the reflection of the Flash in the blades and how its different in each one to show how he's moving so fast and great touches with the goofy looks on his face.

I read that Suicide Squad have had some big scene cutting off to be more "family friendly". It seems that on script Cap Boomerang was a more rude, violent and, yes, funny character!!
He has fight Green Arrow, by the way but he was born as a Flash enemy.
Glad you like my touch on the character, friend!! I wanted exactly to catch the extreme quickness of The Flash that have plenty of time for moving around and mock Cap Boomerang during the time he toss him his blades, with a strong cartoony vibe!!

I guess every show or movie has to have a character who's the comic relief. I also like how the movie ended where they got to have a bit more a normal prison life. Deadeye got to spend time with his daughter, thought it was funny how she was going on the angle it would take to shoot Batman with a gun. Croc got to watch tv and have normal burger and Harley getting a coffee machine, which I thought what was she was going to use to escape.
I can remember a few times in some of the Superman cartoon shows in the late 90s (I think) where the Flash was included and he was rather funny at times making wise cracks about the villain.

"As I recall, the first season of Justice League Unlimited had a story entitled 'Flashpoint', in which Central City was to dedicate a museum to their town's hero, the Flash. Several members of the Rogue's Gallery (Mirror Master, Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold and The Trickster) planned  to crash the ceremony in order to finally do away with the Scarlet Speedster. Flash, in turn, was backed up by Batman and Orion, who was Darkseid's son raised by the New Gods as part of a peace treaty. The episode was unusual, in that it revealed how the Flash interacted with the ordinary residents of his home town. it also showed how he handled some of his enemies without going into heavy violence like Batman. It was a surprising change from the usual dark and violent way a lot of superheroes dealt with other people, and had moments of genuine comedy as well as a lot of action."

"The thing about the Rogue's Gallery is that these guys may not be very tough as individuals, but as a group they can give the Scarlet Speedster all he can handle. And these men seem to be more 'blue collar' types than the snarling, conquer the world villains that most of the other Justice Leaguers run into. They're more likely to hang out at a local watering hole musing about life over a cold drink than ranting and raving about 'Just wait until next time, hero!' like Lex Luthor."

Stupend work, as usual, Mr. Manthomex. The sarcastics faces of Flash in the reflex of the boomerangs are the kind of cartoonish details that I love in your drawnings.

I ever loved the Flash rogues. I don't speak about creepy and nasty villains as the Reverse Flash, but these crooks like Captain Boomerang, Captain Cold, Mirror Master and so on. Most of them - Captain Boomerang indeed - have powers or skills that means nothing against a super powerful guy like the Flash. That make them very funny to me, so i wanted to show - in a cartoony way, my style! - that fighting Cap Boomerang is basically a joke for The Flash, and he have plenty of time to mock him in the time he toss his boomerang-blades around!!

Everyone loves the buffons of the Flash's Villain Gallery, like the Trickster and the beloved Cap. Boomerang.

Oh my! The Trickster!! He is so great, even because in both tv series (90s and today ones) is played by a super Joker-ish Mark Hamill!!

Captain Boomerang: With the power to play really old cartoons on TV!

I kid. They don't do that anymore.

It's a classic villain!! I love him so much like all the other Rogues with completely useless power or skills to sport against the Fastest Man Alive!!
