Description
Ben clayton and I are working together for a horror movie script that he wrote and I am providing the concepts and storyboards for. After that we will forward the project to some film studios for consideration.Description:
---------------------------------
This is the childhood home of Jeffrey as it stands today. At a young age, Jeffrey's father passed away and, being an only child, he picked up caring for the house and the farm from where his father left off. After finishing high school and saving money by working at the local hardware store, he moved away to find adventure. The farm was left to seed, but his mother remained in the house doing small chores and continuing to live a simple country life.

As a note to everyone, Manthos did an amazing job on the little details of where everything goes. I gave him floor plans for the 1st and 2nd floors, plus the attic. The chimney is exactly in the right place. The access door from the attic to the roof is important and he got it all. besides being extremely talented and skilled, his attention to detail is fantastic, and in the end, attention to detail really makes a good drawing great! this was great to begin with...but i still wanted to make that point.

you are absolutely welcome. it's all true. i am so happy that you and I found each other. We seem to be so in tune with our work. I am so excited about what's to come. I bought a few books today, one on Photoshop CS4, one on how to make web comics that was co written by a guy whose web comic I read regularly, one on beginning to end film production from writing, financing, to directing, production, editing, distribution, etc, and finally one on things not to do in the structure of a screenplay, which is pretty interesting. I already have an excellent screenwriting book that I haven't read much of, but I noticed today that it has a section on submitting to studios, so that will be very helpful!!!

Nice drawing, though I don't think I could stand to live so far away from civilisation but in that post-apocalyptic world you were mentioning before, well maybe it's better to be here
I like that eerie orange glow coming from inside the house too

Hey Matthew,Thank you again for the nice comment man To be honest,I do like those places and there are many of them very close to my hometown...houses like this in some peaceful villages. If there was some decent internet connection there I would probably go to live for some months of the year and have the right atmposhere to create, hehe.Im glad you like it!

Yeah, I can unerstand why people would like such places too. Especially because I bet the scenery is nice and it feels very fresh...Whereas in Australia, such places far from main towns/cities are often not surrounded by such pretty scenery, but hot, dry areas with a flat horizon in all directions so there's not much to see
π: 0 β©: 1
ManthosLappas In reply to Chromattix [2009-02-24 18:08:50 +0000 UTC]
hehe,my point exactly Matt,I really love being at those places and believe me I think that it really gives a lot of inspiration to those artistic minds of ours I believe that it helps people to have some variety in the places they can visit.every place can offer us something new...
See you man!
