Description
Commander's confrontation.Felt like doing some FanArt at last.I Have been talking about Warhammer recently with a friend of mine who really loves it and gave me some inspiration to do this one. Then,it happened to see the actual Warhammer concept books that left me completely speechless,in awe. So,I decided try something of my own.I'm not really familiar with it so I just based my fan art version on what I saw in several concept artworks and some real life figures of Warhammer 40k.Hope you like it guys.
*A small note about the characters:
It's actually not Dante but Captain Lachesis,he's a space marine captain and managed to hold in close combat Avatar,As my friend told me.I'm not really familiar with the Warhammer universe but this is the information I had before do that actual image.
Thank you all for viewing!
Excuse me If I dont reply to every comment I receive from you,I'm really under a very busy schedule.Nevertheless, I read all your comments and I thank you for those! Are truly appreciated.

Because looking at them whilst attacking is too mainstream.

Had it been Dante himself, that Avatar would already be reduced to a smoldering corpse.
Nice work though. The pose is well-done and the struggle between the two is clearly expressed.
Didn't know about Lachesis either until now.

You say you aren't very familiar with it, but the people shown are exquisite and the avatar is just as he is portrayed by GW.

Really nice Work!
Clean technique, nice composition and the details of the figures are great.
Only the blades on the avatar arms looks a little bit strange, because the light doesnt seem to affect this part. I think this part represents the bloody claw of khaine, so its are mor symbolic part.
Good job, keep on

Amazingly epic and emotionally gripping. You art really makes me feel the sheer power of the combatants and the importance of this fight. You get the feeling that this single combat determines the course of the whole battle. Beautiful!

Looks awesome, one of the best Avatar depictions I've seen. Only thing I can see that's a little out of place, are the Avatar's vambrace blades. They look a little bit odd and don't quite fir with the overall style of the pic.
Asides from that, looks incredible
