Okay, so this is actually quite a few months old and I was totally going to get better pictures of it, but this will do. This was my makeup for the Carolina Renaissance Festival for the first two times I went (The third I was dressed as that Oh Deerling picture). Here you can finally see my horns painted. I love those things to death, and will eventually be offering like-designed sets for sale. The scales are all liquid latex, poured into a cobblestone mold used for fondant. I love this! Although, to me at least, because the edges of the scales are so thick, it doesn't really look like part of your face. It looks more like a dragon scale armor headpiece, which I still think looks REALLY cool. And I love that there are more than two horns.

Thanks! I agree. I'll need to experiment with pouring another set of scales out of liquid latex that isn't old and clumpy. I appreciate the input.

I also read your blog link. If you do make it thinner and just used a cue tip to apply a few layers of liquid latex around the edges until it blends into your skin, it would look flawless. And that snakeskin looks AMAZING! I may have to try out this technique, haha. It's quite genius.

I will definitely need to try that next time. Thanks! It actually wasn't my idea, I believe I saw it first on a Youtube channel called Pertilude...or something of that manner. You should definitely try it out, I'd like to see what you do.
