Description
This is for feral body types only. I tried to break it down and simplify it as much as possible. Unfortunately, I don't draw bipedal figures in perspective so I won't make a tutorial for those. /w\;1: Draw a straight, horizontal line. This is called the horizon line. Next, place the vanishing point anywhere on the horizon line.
2: Starting from the vanishing point, draw two straight lines outwards (Point A: Click/Tap, Point B: Shift+Click/Tap).
Keep in mind that the farther apart the lines are, the more distorted the subject becomes. Same with narrow space inbetween the two lines.
The top line is for the upper most edge of the subject's body. The bottom line is for the bottom of the paws/feet.
You can draw another line from the vanishing point for the set of legs that are behind the body. Same with the lower part of the torso.
Lines for the head is optional (I personally don't use lines for the head, ears, and tail).
3: You can use either geometric shapes or rounded, organic shapes to draw the subject. Keep in mind that parts of the figure closest to you become larger.
The closer you are to the vanishing point, the smaller the objects will become.
4: Remember to overlap your shapes. The dimension of the subject and the perspective will become more believable.
This is how I work with perspective. I don't actually draw the lines. They're similar to training wheels but I do use them when I'm stuck.
Very useful and easy! If you have a question or need help with something feel free to comment or message me.
