Fluff

these guys are called Six Spoked Water Wyrms be cuse they have 6 spokes (fingers) in the wing.

These dragon like creatures have been breed by humans for thousands of years, thus giving them a wide variety of shapes and colors. They're wings are not big enough to fly instead they use them to maneuver in water, as a way to regulate temperature, and display to mates, they are often spotted on the banks of rivers with just They're wings wings and eyes poking out of the water. In the wild they are drab colors of brown and gray, and are ambush hunters.

Humans are thought to have domesticated the Six Spoke by inviting them in to they're Lake Weed gardens. Six Spokes did well defending human gardens from all sots of aquatic pests and became beloved and revered. Eventually royalty got they're hand on the Six Spoke and made it popular to breed them in to all the varies know today.
