Fasinating work. This eye peice style could be used for all sorts of things as well as a monicle. I could see this being used as some form of protestic eye.
I wonder if it would have been possible to make vents turn on a hinge like a set of blinds. No doubt that would be nearly impossible.
Still it is pretty impressive. I know what I want for christmas!
