Megan's husband, Shawn, caught a forum of the shrinking virus that caused him to shrink with stress...At first she tried her best to give him as little stress as possible. It didn't work though, he still shrank and the extreme effort she put forth amounted to nothing... Shawn was about the size of a doll now. He couldn't do most things and she couldn't take it anymore...
One day as they were eating dinner, Shawn attempted to pull a grape from a vine. He over exerted himself and fell back causing him to shrink a little more...
"God DAMMIT, BE MORE CAREFUL!" Megan screamed slamming her fist onto the table. Shawn looked up at her in shock as he shrank a little more.
Megan put her hand on her head, knowing he couldn't control it. She was finding it hard to keep it together.
Shawn stood up and tried to walk back to his spot but suddenly he tripped over some cloth from the table and fell to the floor.
Shawn was in pain and shrank to half his height. He was now barely 2 inches tall. Megan looked up hearing the noise and noticed he was gone. She leaned over and saw her husband now two inches tall laying on the floor and she snapped...
Megan stood up and walked over to him. She was going to pick him up but as she walked towards him it looked like it scared him and he shrank more. Shawn watched as his titanic wife walked towards him, he could feel each step she took shake his body. It sent chills down his spine and she shrank more.
Megan stared at him for a moment. He resembled a bug to her now and she felt nothing for him anymore. She knew she couldn't talk to him anymore, he was far too small.
"Well now what am I going to do with you..." Megan said extremely annoyed about the situation. Shawn could only watch her, he could tell she was angry with him which caused him to shrink even more.
Megan sat down on the floor and watched her husband. He was nearly half an inch now, just a speck on the floor.
"Listen... I've tried to make this work but its not. You're too small now, I can't think of how we can even have a future together at this point..." Megan expressed, she felt silly talking to a speck on the ground but it was her husband after all.
"I mean look at you, if I didn't already know you where there, I could step on you and I'd never know. What am I going to do with you... You're, just a speck now"
Shawn could only watch, unable to talk to her. Her voice roaring like thunder to him as he desperately wanted to communicate to her.
The situation was so stressful, Shawn just kept shrinking and shrinking until Megan could no longer see him... Tears came into her eyes. There was nothing she could do about it. Megan then stood up and walked away to call and talk to someone about everything.
Meanwhile as Shawn shrank he fell between the wood floor cracks. He had stopped shrinking but now he was basically microscopic. He heard a noise and felt the ground shake as he looked up and saw the bottom of his wife's treads slamming down on top of him. The air pushed between the cracks and blew him away and debris from her shoe fell all around him. He was truly a speck now and this was his new life.
