I posted some lineart on my old site of a random girl with twisting ribbons behind her... That picture was requiem_eternia. I wanted to repost it, but I hated doing something so simplistic, so I played with it on the computer for a couple of hours... Haha, yes, the color-job took a couple of hours, I am a newbie at this. @_@ Never been much good with compy-art.The odd squares were accidental... originally, they just appeared in the blacks. I liked them, though, so I played around until I made them appear in and around the girl as well. I thought that since I was doing a comp-coloring job, which I rarely do, it would be nice to leave the compish looking stuff in there. Kind of techie, maybe. I dunno.
She reminds me of a raver stuck in the realm of digital madness or something.
But anyway, here it is. I'm not sure if I like this or the black and white better, though... No, no... wait... *exudes confidence* This is the best picture in the world! You shall all favorite it and make me popular! Waahaa!

This is beautiful. I love the texture...the way the light falls on the picture is unearthly, and it looks so complex. It's almost hypnotic. Very, very beautifully done.

Eh, probably not... I love traditional coloring, compy stuff just looks too sterile to me. Plus I just don't enjoy doing it. Maybe, though... When I do fanart stuff for things like Zim, I try to do comp coloring as much as possible, since it fits in better with the look of the show, but that's about it.

it takes time, actually. but digital is cool too. i like both equally, i cant choose between one from the other ,they're both a big part of me, art-wise. so yea, its just that you can do different things on digital and different things on traditional so that leaves a wide space for experimenting and improvement, thats how i see it. so i think you should try it more, ull get used to it ^^

yea, and you can mess round without literally messing your hands too, which helps sometimes

I dont quite understand where hours of coloring came in...theres specks of color but nothing is really colored. Kinda confused...
