Oooh, I love the affect of the pencil shading under the color...that's pencil, right? It gives the piece this really nice organic feel that's missing from so many straight-up digital paintings. The hand gesture is great, too...you can really see all the sinews and tissue and joints and UGH I love well drawn hands (even three-fingered ones).
My most favorite part, though, is the detail in the tail. Most people don't put that much time and effort into it...and here it makes a huge difference. Gives me some chills. Much love!
