This is a commission forHere we have two characters from the Legend of Zelda franchise, Vaati and Aryll (Link's little sister :3)
They're my own versions of the characters, created using the references given by the commissioner, so they may not look as they appear in the games n.n Aryll is older here, while Vaati is not in a cartoonish style
I had fun designing the sword and doing all the details in the clothes. Vaati has a cool appearance in my opinion

Very, very, very nice work here Manu-chann! 
I like how this is as much a character development piece as it is fanart. Since Aryll's usually been seen as sweet girl [which, of course, she is] it's interesting to see her in a defiant role and being capable of standing up for herself and others. This of course takes her away from the damsel in distress persona she was seen as.
The way you did her dress is awesome in its simplicity, but also because it acts as a means of contrast in the pic: light colours standing out from otherwise dark surroundings, another way of showing Aryll's form of defiance.
Vaati looks awesome, you certainly did well in updating his appearance but not losing any of the things he has that make him awesome. He's paler than his game-self, adding another form of contrast that seems almost sickly [in a good way] when compared to Aryll. If they were in any other realm of fantasy, they'd be seen as a usual elven female and a sinister dark elf.
Β I like how well you were able to add the chainmail under his robe in such a simplified manner, that definitely ties the image into the Skyward Sword design even more. I like how suave you make him feel, arrogant to an almost haughty level. Yet, you also gave him an air of intimidation that's always made him seem awesome in the manga.
His rapier is fantastic, and I can see you had fun in designing it, it certainly matches his persona through it's design. I like how extra swirly it is, adding to the fact that he's a Wind Mage, but also giving it an air of lethality. Those quillions look pointy! The only iffy bit I can see here is that the hilt of the rapier almost seems to curve towards Vaati as it nears the pommel.
All in all, a wonderful piece! And money well-spent!
