Description
This is a commission forHere we have Rachel Stanley and Natsu Tanimoto (from History's strongest disciple Kenichi) playing Strip Chess... and as an attemp to get Natsu's attention off the game, Rachel starts putting the pieces she takes from him... there where you see them XD

Natsu: Only a fool would want that. I want my Queen.
Rachel: Oh, Natsu. That's so bold of you! *wink*
Natsu: I mean my chess piece of a Queen!
Rachel: Oh I'm sorry. I can't seem to find it. *hold both breast and moves it around, making clicking noises of the chess piece in between*

About Natsu, I have a weakness for tsunderes and anti-heroes XD I love how he's badass and strong, and even during the time of the story when he's a villain, I think he's amazing. I admire how he always wants to get stronger and works hard, and also the way he wants to keep his promise to his little sister T.T His relationship with Honoka is sweet and hilarious, because it shows how much of a good guy he is >w< and the way he always denies he worries and cares about Kenichi and his friends, when he actually is always the one to come to the rescue, is just priceless for me XD I mean, he's not the kind of character who rambles about friendship and moral values (like Kenichi XD) but in the end he's always there talking with his actions, ready to help. His backstory was also quite strong T.T Oh, and he's handsome XD
What I love about Kenichi the most is how we normal people can relate to him. He has come so far only with effort, and I think it's quite fun to see the contrast between his determined and cool self, and his coward and funny side XD I love how he is the kind of character who defends moral values, but in his case his determination is true and it shows, and I think that's really nice, because it shows he's not just rambling, but actually ready to stand to defend his words. I can really relate with his desires to get stronger, since I've been in situations where I wish I could be brave enough and strong enough to stand up and defend the weak. I also like the fact that he's not "perfect" since he has his times when he tries to escape too XD and the way his masters love him (even when they torture him daily XD) is also a proof of how much of a silly good guy he is

I agree with you on the points about Shigure, and don't worry - she'll fight people on equal-footing soon enough. Though fanservice is ramped up a bit as the series progresses.
I like Natsu because of his backstory and design, and how his bitterness is somewhat validated by his past. I always like the anti-hero/rival types [as you've no doubt guessed due to the Lelouch pieces I've commissioned. XD]. I also enjoy his design, as the cloak symbolizes his desire for solitude in addition to looking so badass.
Kenichi is cool in how he also shows character development throughout the series rather than remaining static. At first he's kinda annoying but then later grows more and more of a backbone and develops as a character.

And keep on reading because Shigure gets several different rivals in later chapters, some are brief fights, some ongoing, and one that's very much anticipated by the fans.

One character I actually dislike is Miu's Grandfather, the Elder. He just seems far too overpowered most of the time, he seems to lack a weakness and states to have never lost a match. This is a bit of a flaw in him being the supreme master as it means he hasn't experienced everything there is in the martial arts world such as defeat. Even Kenichi experiences defeat a few times and grows because of it. The Elder seems more like a plot device at times, rather than a character.
I do like Siegfried though!
