You know, one of the things that bothered me before about Hinata's shyness was the fact that when Naruto was little, when he needed someone to be his friend, to heal his loneliness, even if she was the only one who looked up to him and wanted to get close to him... she didn't -.-I mean, now it doesn't bother me that much, but can you imagine how happy Naruto would have been if someone had shown him something that was not fear or hatred? it'd have been so cute T.T
...and that's the idea behind this drawing

I think this would have happened if Ko just saw Naruto as Naruto and not as Kurama.

I completely agree. Every time she tried to talk to him. Ko drags her off scolding for associating with Naruto.

Naruto ends up marrying Hinata
Even though I support Naruhina, and I wanted them to be canon in the end, I didn't dislike Narusaku.
Hinata never let Naruto know about her feelings when they were little, and I think if she had that would have made a big difference.
Naruto's crush on Sakura began as something childish, he liked her because she was pretty. But, especially during Shippuden, their wish to bring Sasuke back brought them together and they became close friends. Anyway, what I mean is that at the beginning of the anime/manga he didn't really have a reason to have a crush on Hinata, since he barely knew her.
I'm really happy that Naruhina became canon, but I would've liked to see more development between Naruto and Hinata. I haven't watched "The Last: Naruto the movie" yet, but even if the movie is supposed to develop the couple, I don't think one movie is enough. I would have loved to see them get closer progressively, but oh well, the manga's main focus wasn't romance, so maybe I'm asking too much.
And one last thing. Even though I love Naruhina, I think that the pairing that made the most sense according to the character development in the story was NaruSasu.

It's not really because of her shyness, she will try to talk to him otherwise,
it's becauseΒ she was forbidden to approach him and she wasΒ monitored by some members of her clan.
In the anime version of Hinata's declaration the studio very well show how HinataΒ had no time to approach him in the flashbacks.

To be honest I follow the manga, not the anime, so I consider canon only what happens on the manga, and those facts were never stated in the manga, sorry n.n"
Anyway, what I really mean if that if she had been stronger, she would have at least attempted contact, the monitoring sounds like an excuse to me, and Hinata herself seems aware of the fact that she was always watching from afar because of her weakness. That's why I think her character development is so important and nice, because external factors all end up being excuses, while her real motives had to do with her inner self and her own personal growth.

That could have been so awsome if it would have happened in the best! I felt really sorry for Naruto that everyone around him were people who hated him because he had Kyuubi (Kuruma) inside him! Hinata was the only one who liked Naruto because if people read the manga and watched the anime, Naruto was the only one who protected Hinata from those bullies in the past so yeah! I think they are the greatest couple ever!

This didn't really bother me until the most recent chapter came out. When Hinata said "I was always there for him."... while it might have been true for the most part, she wasn't :/ It just... didn't sound like something Hinata would think or say.

And you're totally right; I mean, even if I like Naruhina, what Hinata said didn't sound right to me... I don't know if it was a bad translation (like she wanted to say something like "I've always been watching you") or if she actually meant that >.<

maybe she didn't approach him, but she did give naruto something he was always wanting to hear from someone. and that was the speech she gave to him during the proud failure speech, which in my opinion touched naruto very deeply more then anything else and naruto realize that at least there was someone in his life that liked him a lot and admire him, and didn't shun him or hated him or even be little him like most. so all in all naruto did fine out who was in his side when he used to be little and that at least someone believe in him and thought he was someone important. something like that.

don't worry am on your side I totally share your views about that matter, but there were certain elements that prohibit it from happening.but like you sed it would had being really nice if it had happen. which like you sed if it had happen the story would had being different, which really makes me wonder how different ot would had being, looks like a good story to me if it had gone that way.

I know but I was just stating that hinata did do something for him even if she didn't befriend him she did show him that to her naruto was someone very precious to her.
and yeah I agree it would had being nice if she had befriended naruto but that's just how the story was meant to be.
but as of now hinata is doing her best to show naruto of how much she wants to be with him and making it her goal to get naruto to fall for her I guess. and eventually if they do get couple they'll be together forever I guess which would be nice.

la verdad es que si hay algo que pueda "reprocharsele" a Hinata es que nunca se acercase a Naruto cuando eran pequeΓ±os para que no se sintiese tan solo, si bien es verdad que mientras otros no lo hacian por que no querΓa, ella no lo hacΓa debido a su caracter, aunque ella quisiese hacerlo :s
