I love the image of giant male faces peering through the bars at their little victims.  This is great.

This reminds me of my favorite scenes from the old sitcom " Land of the giants".

I must admit that's where the inspiration comes from...

The little man grips the bars of the cage and looks into the massive bearded face of the scientist who reduced him to the  size of a mouse.  The cage into which he has been placed is like a jail cell—cold and austere, with a heavy metal door that clangs when it is shut.  Except no jail prisoner has ever been incarcerated in a jail like this one (at least not to his limited knowledge).  And no lawbreaker has ever had a gigantic monolithic guard controlling his very existence: a colossal man who has acted as police, judge, and jury in taking his freedom and the life he has known from him.  But the similarities end there-- he is no lawbreaker!  No, his only mistake was to fall into the clutches of the brilliant (mad?) scientist who is responsible for his plight.   The looming face of his titanic captor blocks his ability to see anything other than the deeply etched lines in the giant’s skin, the thick wiry gray hair that surrounds the mouth of the behemoth, the furrowed forehead, and the intensely penetrating eyes that cause him to shiver despite the gusts of warm air that seem to caress his tiny body as the titan breathes.

So we may wonder:  what does the giant genius have planned for him?  Thus far the pleased scientist has been surprisingly gentle in handling his little lab mouse.  His enormous fingers have manipulated his tiny man’s limbs with care and he immediately ceased his efforts to remove his shrunken captive’s miniscule briefs when the little fellow began to kick and thrash about in panic.  (There was no need to rush . . . all in good time.)  In fact, he sought to comfort his tiny man by gently petting him with an enormous index finger, starting at the top of his tiny balding head and stroking his fragile back down to the black briefs.  The little man responded well to his efforts and he had to admit to himself that he rather enjoyed the experience himself.   Now the tiny specimen is back in his cage until the scientist decides to resume their work (?) together.
