CHAPTER 16: PRELUDE
A white forest.
White trees, pale earth.
A maiden with white skin and long white hair, her pearly white dress twirling as she dances among the trees.
Her eyes darker than black.
Her sweet melodic voice, giggling and singing, “Can you feel it Dragon? Something moving, something beginning! After so long… Maybe it’s finally time? Hey, Dragon!”
A dark man. His skin ebony. His long hair black.
His eyes golden.
His deep, strong voice, “Yes, my beloved Maiden. Maybe it’s finally time. May your dream come true.”
His large hand holds her slim one, and he kisses it softly.
She laughs, “I can’t wait!”
