Hvert Γ₯r er det sΓ₯nn at pΓ₯ den torsdagen som er nΓ¦rmest hΓΈstjevndΓΈgn (nΓ₯r dagen og natta er like lange), da er det sΓ₯nn lysvandring ned Akerselva i Oslo.. Masse som skjer nedover hele elva, mye fint! SΓ₯nn for Γ₯ markere starten pΓ₯ mΓΈrketida med lys, symbolske greier det her

I took some pictures on a big event in Oslo, you could call it, uh, a "light festival" or something, marking the beginning of the... uh.. my dictionary calls it the "polar night", I don't know if that makes sense to you. The winter in Norway is very dark, the sun is only up for a few hours, so this event marks the beginning of this "dark time", by lighting loads of candles all the way down the river in Oslo ("Akerselva"). So on this photo there was, as you can see, a whole field filled with candles. It was very beautiful
