I love this painting, and the way you depict them. Both of them have beautiful bodies!
Any chance you could do one of an Aztec Priestess performing a human sacrifice?

Heh, certainly an interesting picture there, two old Aztecian gods having a dance...
Very colourful pic there, and I love the shading.
Interesting names they have there, too. That old Nahuatl language certainly has some unusual words. Wonder what they mean... I can make out "quetzal" (feathers) at least...

Thank you! I'm glad you like my design of Aztec deities!
Well, Tezcatlipoca means "smoking mirror", Xochi means "flower" and Quetzal is indeed "feather"

Heh, nice.
Yeah, I only picked up one or two words. I'm somewhat interested in word etymologies and I'd done a little research when I was creating a name for a new dragon-guardian character I was developing.

I really like the dynamics between the two, here!
And seriously, speed painting can be very fun.
I actually prefer the 'alternate' version on Tumblr, probably because I have a love for darker colors, haha.
Well done!

Thank you!
Yeah, and it's a considerable gain of time!
I really could'nt choose so I kept both. But I think I prefere this one a little bit more: looks like an old photo
