I had to get my mind off a troublesome picture I've been working on lately, so I thought it would help to just doodle something else for a while. This meme was perfect for that! It is my first meme ever, but I had very much fun doing it, so I'm quite sure it is not the last one
I don't really have any original characters of my own, so I decided to draw my all time favourite hero instead: the magnificent Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings! And of course he's based on Viggo Mortensen from the movies.
I looked at a few pictures from the Simpsons, South Park, Disney and Muppet Show to get the styles somewhat right, though I don't think Aragorn fit very well in all of those styles.
Also, I pretty much never draw anime, so I probably messed that one up :/Aragorn belongs to J. R. R. Tolkien.

I have great memories too! And I have a lot of Disney videos! When I was young, I had a collection of over 100 videous and I used to watch them all the day!!

Aragorn is my fave LotR character, so it's awesome to see him drawn in so many styles like this ^^

And I'm not sure where he ranks overall, but Sauron is actually one of my tops as well ^^

Gandalf and Gimli are awesome as well, though I find it hard to choose between the other members of the Fellowship. Everyone has got their own distinctive traits, and I love them all

eh...what I have seen in the commercials, they are just spreading disrespect and bad manners like a lot of the cartoons nowadays.

South Park is well known for making fun of everything and everyone, and I know several people are offended by it. But I don't really take anything seriously in the show, simply because I know that absolutely everybody are "attacked". If the show just attacked certain groups or people, it would be an entirely different matter. I've only watched a few episodes though, so I don't really know much about it. But I think it's all about personal opinions, really

I can see that. But my problem is that there are parents out there that are not being responsible and letting their kids watch these shows and possibly worse and this is how the kids think they are supposed to act. It is just my opinion but that's the way I feel.

Ah, well that is perfectly understandable. It's certainly not a show for kids, and people should be able to think on their own before they watch it. No good will come out of taking the show seriously, that's for sure.
