That was a terrestrial survey we did outside the forest It's much easier to do the works there since there are lots of village which could supply foods

I just love this area so much!

Place like this is common in Indonesia :3 And to step anywhere with bare feet is a lovely thing

Well, that's pretty much more or less one of the things the workers in my dad's company does. Basically one of the steps they do before starting construction on a mobile phone signal transmission tower.

Most of construction workers have the knowledges of surveying Though, in my case it was done for scientific reasons.

Welcome to one of the most remote places in Indonesia, Borneo island

Hmm, well you could say that I got involved indirectly with the military since all I do is providing maps. And of course, it includes terrains strategic maps used by the military
Eventhough maps could be used by public too

Hehe, thank you!! Actually I felt that using boots somehow only made my feet become sweaty and smelly So I took them off XD

Terrestrial survey is something like collecting coordinates and position data from the field It is for mapping purpose Usually for building construction site. But in some case, we also create maps for the military which includes the information about terrains or even enemy's hideout

Well, surveyors collect data such as GPS coordinates from the field generally for mapping purpose. And this one is meant for civil construction site We also did the GIS for some location
