Description
This was a very spontaneous piece. I came in from doing something outdoors and was feeling those colors. Each color represented a season, in a way. Nature always provides inspiration for me...fertilizes my artistic eye. The symbols in the background are in a few pieces of mine. Just random symbols. They don't originate from any certain geographic location, unless my mind has a physical address :snort:Color Pastel/Acrylic Wash on Pastel Paper.

Oh... wow. I have never seen anything on this site that struck me as... so raw and beautiful and.... art.
I want to tell you that this is so _____, something... gorgeous, beautiful, skillful- but the only word that fits is "art". It's just.... the fact that you mentioned seasons and nature being inspiration, and the fact that you drew the human body in so many forms just makes me think of art in it's earliest forms. It's pure. That's what I'm looking for. Pure and amazing. I envy whoever purchased this piece.

I do a lot of figure drawings myself, and this one is very inspiring; I'm in love with the vibrant colors you've used. Also, those are tough angles to draw a figure in... kudos to you!

I don't know what it is about this piece... but it's very original....and the colours are wonderfully vibrant... However, to me it's got a certain familiarity.... It's one of those things that I'll never be able to put my finger on for sure... I love your style, and the figures are superb... an all around winner.

heh... i don't really know how the dd thang works either, and i've been here awhile
but i think it maybe a combination of some of their staff surfing randomly, and other deviants nominating someone specifically, then the staff checks it out.
