It was the first thing I watched as a child on TV, and I've loved it ever since. It's one of the best anime shows ever

I was born 87 and I started watching Starzinger at age 2.
So we're very close generation wise

Youtube is great with that, but I'm sorry it wasen't the whole episode

Did you watch some of the other old goodies?
Galaxy express 999, rose of versailles, saint seiya or candy candy and sandybelle??

I love all those old shows and I watch them from time to time even to this day. I'm currently watching Sandybelle and Candy candy again, I'm trying to teach my sisters kids to enjoy anime and so far it's working

Yes, it was one of my most fav old anime series. I also have other favorites like God Zigma, Kotetsu Jeeg, Polimar, Gordion and for the girl anime ones is Candy Candy, Hana no ko LuLu ^^
also i have some old live action series like Space Sherif Gaban, Goggle V, Zabogar ^^

Nowdays not many anime shows come here, and if they do, they are very pricy. I always import shows via ebay when buying

They think Candy is a crybaby and so far they like Terry the best of the guys

Yes, they could be clones, but then again, both steve and Archie look the same too, only different hairstyles and colors O_O

I've heard of those animes, but never seen them. I only saw a few episodes of Hana lo ko lulu in german when my family somehow had a german cartoon chanel

That's what i always do, when i really love it, then i'll get the original XD but this days i rarely get original anime, mostly i spend more for manga.

Isn't it Annie that is more crybaby than Candy?
Terry sure is more badass than Antony and Albert, but he was quite an ass at the end.....as for Antony....his time is surely short thanks to the horse XD; and Albert, took him awhile to remember the whole thing XDDD
i could say i prever to see Candy end up with Annie though XDDD ok that is sooo off from the story XP

Lolz, man, the guys in Candy Candy sure does have lots of doppelganger XDDDD

Nowadays i love all that have Yuri/Shoujo Ai in it. School life, drama, comedy, action, fantasy, mecha, girls with guns and swords , the one that i watch at this moment is
"Shirobako" is an anime about girls that work in a production house that makes anime, it show us how they make anime in japan, really good story.
"Yuri Kuma Arashi" , it's a yuri anime about a girl and a bear that can turn to be a girl, somehow i feel that this anime is similar with UTENA in a way.
"Kantai Collection" , battleship girls, it was based on game
"Cross Ange" , the main character is a princess that was cast away when they find out that she was different, she later on thrown away to a place where she became a pilot of a robot and she have to kill the dragon, that's what they believed until they finds out who is the real dragon was.

I do that sometimes, but I prefer buying them, cause many of the online versions have shitty quality or bad subtitles.

Both are crybabies, Candy was however better than annie when younger. That's what I think anyway.
Terry for me will always be the perfect match for candy
Thet sure do! both the guys and girls look so similar!

I don't recognize any of those, but that's cause I'm not into Yuri/Shoujo. I do like the same genres aside from that, action,fantasy, comedy and romance, I also like historical ones based in older times

I watch both new and older stuff (not as old as the goodies) but older which did not come out where I live back when they were released.

yeah x3 I enjoyed it a lot, even a friend of mine did too so sometimes he told me what was going on just in case I didn't understand (luckily he understood italian o.o;...)

kyaaaaa, throughout ze show I just love small special moments... I dunno if you've seen all of it but there were some cute moments with Aurora 'n Kugo... but in my opinion I like Aurora with Sir Djorgo ze most ^^ *Giggles*

Galaxy Express 999 also a very nice anime. My first anime is Starzinger, Godzigma, Voltus V, Candy-Candy. i had found some DVDs for voltus and candy2, but still no luck for Starzinger n Godzigma >3<

All cassettes are dubbed in finnish, but there's something I love in OLD finnish-dubbed cartoons I've watched all starzingers at Youtube, but I still wanna get them on cassettes or dvd:s (I've been waiting when ppl put all of Starzingers etc. on dvd ;__; )

good for u ^^ the last time i saw Starzinger, they were dubbed to english and the title changed to 'Spaceketeers'. I'm not a big fan of it, but its quite worth it since i never finish watching the original Japanese ver.
True, it would take quite awhile to get the DVDs >3<

it was in our local tv station years ago, but its in english dub and they change the whole names =3=
i wonder if they will repeat that again, but i kinna doubt it since its too oldies and the kids this days like more of naruto, one piece, pokemon etc >>;

Yup, that's true I was total Pokemon-freak when I was 11years old
but now I appreciate old animes I don't like ppl in Finland started to be so "anime" seriously, last year I was in Animecon and I was so excited to see many different cosplay costumes, but all what I saw was tens of Narutos and 47 Axels from FF I disappointed.

i rarely watch pokemon, cause by the time pokemon is in my place most of them were dub in english (which is sucks)
i always like the oldies anime compare with the newest anime nowdays, they still way better.
but yeah i guess those anime are a big hit since they have lots of collection of bishounen?
