I understand the feeling. I just trimmed my goatee from roughly four inches to about an inch. Spent a year growing that thing then family finally convinced me to refine it. Seems ok for now.

He he, I wish. I hope to do something like that one day, I don't have all the skills to do it yet, and getting the right stuff for moulds, casts, and painting is a little out of my budget at the moment.
I am building up info on it all though, & a little mental pot of money to go along with it
