Description
2023 edit As always with work and personal life I really didn't dedicate a lot of time this year to art which sucks. I did manage to draw something almost every month though, even if it was just a sketch here and there.2022 edit Work unfortunately ate a lot of my time so I didn't end up doing any detailed pictures, but I did manage to complete a couple of pictures I liked. I really want to priorities my art and practice more in 2023. Hopefully I will have success!
2021 edit I didn't have much time to draw this year which sucks, and I missed Inktober due to moving house! But I didn't want to miss this year out of the improvement chart. I did manage to draw a few things as I attempted art scrapbooking (which was a lot of fun). Here's hoping 2022 is much more productive for me!
2020 now included! Can't believe how many years I've been drawing now- there is definitely progress but hopefully I can make more in 2021!
EDIT:: I've now updated this page with my summary of 2019
EDIT: 2018's row has been added! Fell back in love with drawing again in the second half, although still sticking to chibis! Let's roll on with 2019
EDIT: Added a row for 2017. Haven't drawn as much as I wanted to (and dont even ask about any digital art), but thankfully Inktober helped me practice a bit more!
Hello everyone! I've updated this post again, but submitted it fresh so it doesn't get lost in the depths of my gallery.
I love looking at improvement charts, I find them so inspirational!
I honestly can't believe that I have kept up drawing as a proper hobby since 2006, I'm so happy!
There is definitely improvement over the years, but I really feel like I've hit a slump since I got my tablet in 2011.
I haven't drawn as much as I wanted to again this year (2016) which is a shame, and I have forgotten how to do anatomy. I really want to get to a stage where I can draw dynamic pictures and backgrounds, but I still need to practice more.
Onwards to 2017!

Hey, this is an interesting art meme. Haven't done one of those in ages now.
I like how you went from paper to digital and back to paper again. Free-styling it with a pencil or mouse definitely beats working a clunky stylus!
Edit: I went and made one too:

Aw thank you! Yeah I like the freeness of sketching on paper, but I do find it easier to colour digitally as you have the undo button!
Thanks very much for the comment, and I'll go ahead and check yours out too!
