Description Splinter the door that splinters your voice,
For who are you to be so enticed,
I've found who I am and it's not you,
And I know who you are, and it could never be true,
We've played this game and we've played it well,
But it's time to leave and live other spells,
Spells of love and spells which haunt,
Like the spells we are when we tend not,
Everything wrong, everything right,
Everything late in the wrong kind of light,
We tend to see what's only there,
Nothing more than what is for,
And everything less than all the tests,
We tend to hope for only the best,
When the best is best for none of the rest,
Closure is key, and a key we need,
To open the door and shake avenged hands,
So turn the lock, which we have stopped,
And twist the knob which we have locked,
Than maybe we'll see face to face,
All the thoughts that have been misplaced,
And maybe we'll see better still,
That I am me by my own will,
And the you that's you cannot be killed,
And the difference is all the same,
When we have no one left to blame,
Because I'm falling, falling, falling,
Just like you used to do,
And we're drifting, lifting, sifting,
In every little thing we do.

I really like this peice.
All the references to shadows of a former self. It all just seems to have really good flow to it also.

Yea...thanks.

It's about many things. Being alike or different than other people...including myself.
