Description
“From the beating of a butterfly's wings in one place causing a tornado in another part of the world.”Have you ever paused to consider the other side? Did the thought ever cross your mind? Are you even aware that there is another dimension to life, outside of your own personal, comforting realm? Will anything short of your own death and demise reveal the beating hearts of unknown worlds?
Ponder me this.
If the actions of every creature change the winds of all of mankind, than should we not be more aware of the hearts and minds that spur on such changes? Turning a blind eye on the will, intentions, and souls of others, means one turns a blind eye on those who pave the paths of our own lives.
The footprints each individual leaves behind will mark the roads our children shall tread. So why aren’t we observant of such steps in life? Why are we not intrigued, mesmerized, and forever hypnotized by the movements of others, immersed in the rippling pool in which strangers dive.
“And when you feel that it is time to leave, I hope you turn the page; you never know what will be on just the other side.”
Shall we live in ignorant bliss, thinking our lives are all our own, unaffected by the inhaling and exhaling of every child, the bubbling of every brook, the tumbling of each mountain range, and the extinction of every breed? Since when do we control our own destiny? Do not be fooled my friends. We do not have the power, authority, or divinity to control destiny. However, we do have the ability to determine how we will let destiny affect us, and how we may positively influence destiny.
As someone dear to me eloquently and wisely once said…
“The greatest single mystery in life is who we truly are-my life is this, all that I have in this one solitary moment-and it's my choice where this all leads to...”

Why thank you. I've been pondering and studying this theory for quite some time, ever since someone said they wish they could make me understand that the butterfly effect doesn't exist.
I love your tag.

I spent some time trying to explain the concept in the sense of my beliefs to somebody not too long ago. I don't think I got my point across ... But he was never the sort that listened, he just liked to argue *sigh*
But an 'intelligent' discussion doesn't grow if you don't actually listen to the other side. You can't continue to make the same point without acknowledging the other person's ideas and expect a discussion to go somewhere... But that's a complaint for another person at another time, sorry.
As for my tag, thanks ^^ I saw the quote and it stuck in my mind, so I had to have it somewhere.

I completely understand, and don't worry I love when people leave me random rants that are meant for others. I do it too, so it makes me feel not so alone and weird haha.
I agree. People need to understand one's life before they dare judge. I just had a 3 hour discussion with a group of girls and we were talking about how judgmental people can be without really knowing you.
I wouldn't discussed it with this person...but every time I try they start something so...it's not worth it.
