My heart breaks...how can people do this to each other. How...I don't understand how people can hurt or kill. It's why I don't understand the death penalty...how could someone willingly stick a needle into anybody and take their life, despite what they did? How did the Roman soldiers beat Jesus to a bloody pulp and stand guard watching his frail body hanging from a tree? How did the ancient civilizations punish people by ripping off their finger nails and tearing out their tongues? How did the Nazi's burn so many live Jewish bodies, and watch them diminish into nothingness before their very eyes? How can a pregnant mother, no matter the circumstances, pull out a baby from her stomach with a coat hanger? How...How do we do these horrible things to each other. How is there so much ability in us to hate and to hurt. Who was the first one to think of torture and abuse? Why do we feel this need to constantly destroy our own race? How do we end up abolishing ourselves, wiping ethnicities off the planet like Darfur?
I will never understand, and yet I have been apart of the very thing that makes my stomach curl...the same thing that makes me feel weak...the same thing that makes me lose hope in the human race's ability to have a heart-the very thing that makes us human.
I have fought, not physically but with words. I have attacked people out of anger with my tongue. I have gossiped wildly behind the backs of my foes. I have enemies who I despise. In my heart, I am killing off my own race.
God says thinking poorly about another human is equal to murder...so what am I?
How have I sunk so low as the people on the very death row that disgusts me? Should I not sit amongst them? Should we not all live in cells?
Of course not, but sometimes I feel like the worst of them on this earth, when as a Christian I have the precious duty to live in the footsteps of the best. Some times I feel like the "least of these"...
But than I realize...it is the "least of these" that God embraces as His children and that He offers full-fledged forgiveness to.
There is a hope for humanity-it lies in the hearts of those of us who have fallen, but who found the strength to get up and love again.
What can one do when they see the world shatter...they can write to it's people and get help to put the pieces back together again.
Please. Love. Hope. Help.

All people would deserve the death penalty if it was for talking behind peoples backs. Taking another humans life is different though. You are physically stopping their heart and making their soul leave what was their remains. I do not believe them equal, even though I am a follower. I do not believe that gossip brings death, but that death brings death. Remember.

I don't. Gossip destroys one's spirit, which to me is more valuable than one's body.
Emotional pain to me is more deadly then physical.
And the Bible rates all sins equal.

I just feel that taking a man's life is worse than taking his dignity or something. Taking ones sense and not their soul is terrible too. To leave them in a ablack abyss that was once their mind and to leave them to soak in it. That's worse.

Wow, that made me cry. I've become so sensitive to hatred, killing ect..
That even a video game called god of war 2 can make me turn my head and let tears fall. I've squirmed in my bed at night at the thought of it. Is it of us that because the children cannot walk the streets anylonger?
Why does humanity have to be so cruel? Anger and agony people think its the only way.. but how? Why? What hatred bubbles inside of us comes through violence messing with our minds until we explode, like a bomb.
Life is ruff and it is those who believe, trust, love, and care that will help the world realise. Realise what there fighting for. Nothing.
